This Privacy Policy explains how the MyKerja employee app ("MyKerja", "the app") collects, uses and protects your personal data. MyKerja is operated by Nexvance Technology Sdn. Bhd. ("we", "us"). The app is provided to employees through their employer, who subscribes to the MyKerja HR platform.
Your employer is the data controller of your employment information. We process your data on your employer's behalf to provide HR services. For requests to access, correct or remove your data, please contact your employer's HR or admin team in the first instance.
We share your information with your employer, and with trusted service providers who help us run the app (such as cloud hosting and notification services). We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
Your data is stored on secured cloud servers and protected with encryption in transit and access controls. We take reasonable steps to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet Malaysian statutory record-keeping requirements (for example, payroll and statutory records may be kept for several years), and in line with your employer's policies.
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to access and correct your personal data, and to limit its processing, subject to your employment obligations. These rights are usually exercised through your employer's HR or admin team.
MyKerja is intended for use by employees and is not directed at children.
